Kickstand Down

Ride Down. Kickstand Down.

Ride down. Kickstand down. 11am on day one to 10am the next — that’s the whole plan.

You reach our farm by 11am, and from there we take over. A welcome drink, something small to stop the rumbling, and then either you sink straight into adda or you want the farm-story tour right away — the honest version, what we’re building and what we’ve got wrong. A farm is never a finished thing.

The tour ends at the community kitchen, where we serve you your lunch. You later retire to your accommodation — comfortable tents, twin sharing. Stretch out, or indulge in Basket Ball or Pickle Ball if your legs survived the ride. The evening is barbecue dinner, GupShup and Gaana-Shaana by the barbecue-grill — Guitar, Clapbox, Djembe etc.

The next morning, breakfast is your group’s call. Paco will cook up a simple Moroccan Breakfast — hope you like being involved in the battle between tomatoes & eggs & bread — or a proper rider’s paratha-makkhan waala breakfast if that suits the road ahead better.

Kickstands up by 10am. On the way home you could ride to the Tibetan monastery at Dhondsheling, about 45 km from the farm, or drive up to BR Hills and on the way back have the tastiest veg meal ever, made by 2 ex-IT professionals-turned-farmers.
